BLOG POSTS
Art fundamentals is an introductory course to the visual arts, as well as a prerequisite to several of the studio electives.  This semester offers hands-on experience with making art, familiarity with art vocabulary and concepts, and a broader understanding of the visual arts role in contemporary society.  Studio projects will explore two and three dimensional design, color theory, painting, and observational drawing using a variety of media.  Historically significant techniques and influences will be presented and discussed with each project.
